As we anticipate the arrival of spring, we are thrilled to present an exclusive pre-order opportunity featuring Lavender Fields at Pumpkin Blossom Farm's two favorite lavender varieties—Lavandula 'Sensational' and 'Phenomenal,'  
Ready for pick up when the farm opens on June 1st.  We do not ship plants so you must be prepared to pick up in person at the farm in June.
'Sensational" and 'Phenomenal' plant varieties were specially cultivated by Peace Tree Farm in Pennsylvania to face the New England weather. Plants are a hybrid between traditional English lavender and Portuguese "Spike" lavender, and grow tall and hearty, with high essential oil yield, high bud count, and vivid indigo hues. 
We have had incredible luck with 'Phenomenal' and 'Sensational' in our fields, ever since the very start of the farm in 2020, and they make up the vast majority of our over 6,500 plants now. 
Plants will come in 'Plug" sizes, which are roughly 3 inches in height and fairly delicate. When you pick up your plants, it is best to plant them in the ground ASAP. The lavender will thrive being planted late in early June, and will need as much full sunlight as possible, and a light watering nightly until summer temps level out. 
(You will receive printed instructions on how to care for your plants upon pickup if you need them!)
